Artist Biography/Exhibitions: Lucian
Bistreanu, 36, started to take private drawing and painting lessons in 1990.
In 1997 he graduated from Romanian-American University of Bucharest, Romania.
Despite his hectic life as a Law School student, he started to spend most
of his leisure time in the studios of some of the very well known Romanian
artists, such as Radu Daranga, Cornel Barsan, and Daniel Balanescu, who
helped him improve his artistic skills. He also learned the art of printing
textile. Since 1998 he has had exhibitions in various galleries throughout
Romania and the USA, both solo and/or in group. Lucian Bistreanu's paintings are
in some private collections in Romania, U.S., Canada, France and Germany.
